A day long Practical paediatric haematology workshop was organised by the department of paediatrics at era university under the Hemato oncology chapter of IAPon Saturday 23november 2019.It was attended by delegates from Lucknow and near by areas.the focus of the workshop was to understand the basic concepts of haematology .it highlighted the approach to common haematological disorders in children. Esteemed guest speakers for the occasion were Dr Amita Mahajan from Apollo hospital New Delhi .Dr Manas Kalra from sir ganga Ram hospital Delhi and Dr shruti kakker from Ludhiana .the programme was well planned and supervised by professor Archana Kumar of pediatrics department of era university .prof Riaz mehdi – head of pathology dept of the university was the guest of honour for the occasion ,while the chief guest was prof MMA Faridi.
Prof Shrish bhatnagar head of the department , organizing secretory Dr S shamsi along with Dr chhavi nanda. Dr Geetika and all other faculty members and residents had worked cohesively to organise the event successfully.
